Qualifications: ( المؤهلات الأساسية )
• BS degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering. (MBA in Production Management is an added value.)
• More than 10 to 15 years work experience (in similar position) in Industrial processes. Experience in fabrication field / steel sheets and crane girder fabrication.
• Knowledge of crane manufacturing standards & fabrication tolerances
• Good knowledge / experience in welding procedures and welding inspection
• Knowledge of ISO regulations and procedures
• Leadership qualities, motivation of people with strong personality
• Knowledge of painting systems / surface preparation, etc.
• Managerial skills – job scheduling, planning & execution (project management software knowledge is an added value).
To be Responsible for: ( ليكون مسؤولآ عن )
 All the factory activities in all its phases including planning, production, installation, commissioning, testing, operation and maintenance and delivery.
 Reviewing production orders and schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates and prepare production plans.
 Directing and coordinating factory operations within company policies and procedures.
 Managing production & safety personnel at the factory to ensure that all personnel under his command operate as a coordinated & efficient team.
 Ensuring that the safety/security polices and standards are implemented, and managing all the other safety issues at the factory.
 Overseeing the operations of the factory, which includes, setting department objectives consistent with Company vision, and following through to their successful completion.
 Participating in long range resources planning in support of identified production and maintenance plans.
 Reviewing daily progress and coordinates resolution of special problems.
 Drives continuous improvement programs.
 Coordinating with other factory departments to control the relation between all production stages.
 Coordinating with all departments, and finalizing all technical aspects for developing the production unit.
 Formulate, monitor and control factory’s budget, ensuring the efficient and effective utilization of resources, plus the minimization of cost and the availability of needed resource as and when required.
 Reviewing drawings for control of planned output, budget spending, material efficiency, and engineering effectiveness.
 Check the factory machinery performance and study the new up-to-date machines, if required, for developing the production progress, quality and cutting cost.
 Establishing and implementing accuracy standard.
 Training the supervisors (if necessary), and assist them in resolving technical problems (if any).
 Fostering well-trained and motivated staff.
 Preparing and submitting reports to the Executive Vice President on periodical basis.
 Chalking-out a detailed plan, covering: (i) Forecasting, i.e., setting-up production, yearly / monthly / weekly / daily, (ii) Production & service, i.e., complying with the required product and quality specifications, and production services as required.
 Supervising, managing and controlling inventory, including, material planning, coordinating with purchasing department for material planning…etc.,
 Supervising issues related to Quality Assurance and training the staff.
 Communicating with the concerned person / party / department when discrepancies appear on job orders and to take the necessary action to modify them.
 Conducting employee performance reviews.
 Exercising good judgment in safeguarding confidential or sensitive information and adhere to high standards of confidentiality and honesty.
 Planning, organizing, prioritizing and performing multiple tasks to perform job functions in an orderly and efficient manner.
 Leading a team of supervisors, technicians/operators.
 Reducing costs by controlling operating expenses.
 Reporting and reviewing the status of the job schedule and speeding up the process.
 Ensuring the quality of the planning, design and implementation activities.
 Defining the major obstacles and risk factors (if any) in the factory.
 Identifying problems, analyze alternatives, and develop viable recommendations.
 Keeping and maintaining proper record of all technical, financial, contractual and legal documentation for the whole factory.
 Establishing and maintaining a positive community relationship.
 Scheduling and conducting periodical factory meetings.
 Other duties as assigned.
